From combat boots to bookshelves — Michelle Angelo builds writers the way the military builds soldiers: with discipline, strategy, and heart. She launched Ink & Instinct to turn writing into a battlefield for truth — a place where overlooked voices find power, purpose, and a squad that has their back. Through her work as a coach, author, and veteran, Michelle helps writers transform their stories into unapologetic literature that leaves a lasting footprint.

What We Do
Ink & Instinct was created for one reason: to make sure writers never feel as lost, overwhelmed, or unsupported as so many of us did when we first started.
When most writers begin their journey, they’re running in circles — not knowing where to begin, who to ask, or where to turn. The process can feel confusing, lonely, and unnecessarily complicated. There are very few communities for writers, almost no real guidance, and almost no platforms that break the process down in a way that feels clear, empowering, and achievable.
So we built the thing we wish existed.
Ink & Instinct exists to help aspiring authors and emerging writers navigate the writing process with clarity, structure, and confidence.
We simplify the journey step by step — from idea, to manuscript, to finished book — so writers aren’t guessing, second-guessing, or getting stuck in the same loops that keep stories from being written.
We created this space to give writers:
